“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10
Yesterday during the storm, a tree fell right in front of our car as we were driving. We started praying and told our kids that they didn’t need to be afraid because God was protecting us. I asked, “Do you know how many times I’ve prayed over you guys in this car?” Without hesitation, Wade yelled back “10,000!” After making multiple U-turns because of downed trees blocking several streets, we made it home safely. I will never forget how God brought us through the storm. I pray that you will feel the presence of God through whatever storm you’re going through and that you know He is in control, He loves you and He will bring you through.
After the storm passed and the sun was once again shining, I went back to the spot where the tree fell in our path to take this picture. It reminds me of His goodness, His faithfulness and I am thankful for His love.
