Combat Veteran Support Fellowship
Combat Veterans are invited to attend the monthly meeting on the first
Thursday at 7 pm in the CCA Library. No meeting is scheduled for July or
August.
This fellowship ministers to the present needs of our military who served in
past and/or present wars.
Please park in the Handicap parking by the flagpole and enter through that door.
Please take the stairs or elevator to the library on the second floor.
The group reviews one of ten steps from the manual during the month at home and then
meets the following month to discuss that step.
There are no costs for the veteran and attendance at any of our other
services or
church ministries is not required but is encouraged if the veteran does
not have a church home.
The group uses "The Combat Trauma Healing Manual" by Rev. Chris Adsit,
which is directed at Christ-centered Solutions For Combat Trauma. The
manual is available at the monthly meeting or you may get one at
our church bookstore.
Please bring your Bible or one will be provided.
The monthly meeting topics are listed for your review below:
// September - Where was God?
// October - What happened to me?
// November - Where's the hospital?
// December - How did I change?
// January - How can I stand it?
// February - How Do I move on?
// March - Who am I now?
// April - How do I fight?
// May - How do I get across?
